Delivery Policies

DELIVERY

Corporate delivery hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Deliveries are scheduled within a 30-minute window. Delivery outside of regular hours is available however additional fees will apply. If your order is over $200 your delivery fee is waived. If your order is under $200 a delivery fee of $20 will apply. All deliveries include equipment pick-up on the next business day. Please ensure equipment is ready for pick-up. Additional fees will apply for multiple trips and/or lost equipment. Same day equipment pick-up is available however additional fees will apply.

Delivery Service Area & Rates

ORDER CUT-OFF

All orders must be confirmed by 12:00 p.m. for next-day deliveries. Monday delivery orders must be placed by the previous Friday.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A cancellation notice must be provided at least 24 hours (1 business day) in advance for all delivery orders. Hot food and specialty items require 48 hours (2 business days) notice for cancellation.

ALLERGIES

We are pleased to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions. Two Peas in a Pod Catering is not a nut-free, dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian or vegan facility; however, we will do our best to avoid cross-contamination. Please note that Two Peas in a Pod Catering will not be held liable for adverse reactions to our menu offerings.

PAYMENT METHODS

Two Peas in a Pod Catering accepts cash, cheque, EFT and eTransfers. We also accept credit cards however a 3% surcharge does apply.

 

 

SERVICE STAFF RATES

$35/hour: Event Supervisor

$30/hour: Server

$30/hour: Bartenders

$40/hour: Head Chef

$35/hour: Chef

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

An initial non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required at the time of signing the contract to confirm your event. Two weeks prior to the Event Date, an additional 50% deposit of the total cost must be paid. The final balance plus any additional costs for labour, beverages or rentals will be billed to you after your event. Depending on the menu and services provided, your event may be subject to 18% gratuity on food & beverage as well as replacement costs to any breakage of items caused by your guests.

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY

Two Peas in a Pod Catering will accommodate dietary substitutions whenever possible. Menu prices are subject to change at any time according to market prices. Any changes to the menu must be confirmed no later than five (5) business days prior to the Event Date and may be subject to additional charges. Two Peas in a Pod Catering reserves the right to discard all perishable food items two hours after the event in compliance with FOODSAFE™ practices. Once food has left your event venue, it is no longer food safe. You may provide food containers to bring home leftovers from the event.

LIQUOR SERVICE

If you would like to have liquor service at your event, Two Peas in a Pod Catering can coordinate the application for your special event liquor permit. We cannot sell and serve liquor without a special event liquor permit. We reserve the right to refuse to work with outside bartenders or bar supply companies.

RENTALS

Two Peas in a Pod Catering utilizes outside providers for many of its rental, floral, photography, tenting and audio-visual requirements. Two Peas in a Pod Catering reserves the right to coordinate all rentals required for our food and beverage service.

LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

You agree that Two Peas in a Pod, its directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or destruction to any property, personal injury or death, however caused, arising from any aspect of your event. You will indemnify and hold harmless Two Peas in a Pod and its directors, officers, employees and agents against all claims, demands, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to person or property, however caused, arising from any aspect of your event. You will be entirely responsible for any damages to the location or venue in any way and will supervise all event participants to ensure that they conduct themselves in an orderly manner.

CANCELLATION FEES FOR FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES

All cancellations must be made no later than thirty (30) days prior to event. All initial deposits received as confirmation are non-refundable if a cancellation occurs.
